Privacy policy
What we collect when you book a call, why we collect it, and how you can reach us about it.
Luminarie Digital ("we", "us") is based in Sydney, New South Wales, and works with service businesses across Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we hold it and how you can contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you book a Strategy Call, we ask for:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- A short description of what your business does
- Your monthly advertising spend and average customer value, as ranges
- Anything you choose to tell us about your enquiries, in the optional free-text field
When you book a time in the calendar, the booking tool records the time you chose and the details you entered. If you contact us in any other way, we keep the correspondence.
Like most websites, we also collect some information automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you arrived here. See "Cookies and analytics" below.
Why we collect it
- To prepare for and hold the Strategy Call you booked
- To decide whether our service is a good fit for your business
- To follow up with you about the call and, if you become a client, to deliver the service
- To understand how the website is used and to improve it
- To measure and improve our own advertising
We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask to be on one.
How we hold it
Form submissions and booking details are stored in our customer relationship management platform, which is hosted by a third-party provider. That provider stores data on servers that may be located outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers with appropriate security practices, and we limit access to people who need it to do their work.
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. If you do not become a client, we generally delete your booking details within twelve months of the call.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers we use to run the business and the website, such as our CRM, calendar and email tools, and analytics and advertising platforms. They may only use it to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This website may use cookies and similar technologies from analytics and advertising platforms, such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to understand traffic and to measure whether our advertising is working. These tools may set cookies on your device and collect information about your visit. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop the website from working.
Access and correction
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time and will not charge you for the request.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your information in a way that breaches the Australian Privacy Principles, contact us first and we will look into it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Contact
To ask about this policy or the information we hold, email elizabeth@luminariedigital.com. We will reply within a reasonable time.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. The current version is always the one on this page.
